Dr. Gregory Makrides


Dr. Gregory Makrides is President of the European Association of ERASMUS Coordinators, president of the European Association for Career Development and Executive Director of the European Office of Cyprus in Brussels.
Dr. Makrides is director of science and international relations at the University of Nicosia, Cyprus. Since 2007 he has been working as Executive Director of the Office of Cyprus in Brussels  affiliated with the European Commission, which manages  500 000 EUR Per year.  Dr Makrides is President of Cyprus Mathematical Society and is president of  the Mathematical Association of Southeast Europe. In 1990 he obtained his doctorate in Applied Mathematics at the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago, USA. Since 2002 he has been Coordinator of 9 projects to the European Union and has been a partner in other projects. He is the author of numerous scientific articles in refereed journals and 28 publications in papers at scientific conferences.
 In 2016 Dr. Makrides was elected as Visiting Professor at VUZF to teach "European Funds and Programmes" training Course.

Prof. Petko Kalev


Petko S. Kalev is a Professor in Finance and the Director of the Centre for Applied Financial Studies (CAFS) — School of Commerce, at the University of South Australia Business School. Professor Kalev holds a PhD in Financial Econometrics from Monash University, a Master of Science in Statistics from the University of Melbourne and, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics from the University of Plovdiv. Prior to joining the University of South Australia in February 2010, Professor Kalev worked at the Department of Accounting and Finance, Monash University (1999–2010). Professor Kalev has several research interests ranging from Asset Pricing, Capital Markets and Market Microstructure, Market Efficiency, Corporate Finance, Professor Kalev is most known and recognised for his empirical research contributions to the field of Market Microstructure: Asymmetric Information and Informed Trading, Market Quality, Price Discovery and Volatility Modelling.
Professor Petko Kalev is the founder and Director of CAFS, at the School of Commerce (October 2010). On his initiative, UniSA became the first participating member, located outside of New South Wales of the $100 million Capital Markets Cooperative Research Centre (CM CRC). Professor Kalev has strong links with the finance industry — he is a past Committee member of both Q-group Australia and Q-group Melbourne chapter. Currently he is a member of the SIRCA research committee. Professor Kalev is also the founder and executive chair of an annual research conference on Behavioral Finance and Capital Markets (2011 – present).
Prof. Kalev was elected as visiting professor at VUZF in 2012.


Dr. Reinhard Bauarmeister and Mr. Gunter Krausse 


Dr. Reinhard Bauermeister and Mr. Gunter Krausse are senators ad honorem in the Higher  School "Lessing" in Berlin.
Dr. Reinhard Bauarmeister, Senator in the Higher School "Lessing" (Germany), honorary judge at the Berlin Administrative Court and Honorary Royal Consul of Grenada of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, author of the theorem to explain the real political processes, known as "Three-phase scheme for the formation of political will”;
Gunter Krausse, a senator in the higher education school of "Lessing", founder of online education.
The two researchers have special contribution to the development of transcontinental economic and financial concept, which has a significant effect on economic areas of European industrial nations.

They were elected as visiting professors at VUZF in 2008.
