Dear students,

Only students with average results from the Bachelor"s degree semester exams Good 4.00 can work on a thesis!

Important deadlines:

Deadlines and requirements for the thesis defense during JULY 2023

1. Supervisor appointing and topic selection - application submission to the department chair by 17 March 2023;
2. Students are required to submit a copy of the thesis to the supervisor - deadline 15 May 2023;
3. After the supervisor has approved the thesis and thinks the student is ready for the defense, the student should submit the final thesis (electronic version via email and the paper version to the Front Office, application to the rector for the thesis defense, 300 BGN payment of the administrative fee) - deadline 28 June 2023;
4. Obtaining a review - till 12 July 2023;
5. Thesis defense - 19 July 2023.

Deadlines and requirements for the thesis defense during OCTOBER 2023

1. Supervisor appointing and topic selection - application submission to the department chair and receiving an email from your supervisor that he approves your topic selection - by 30 June 2023;
2. Students are required to submit a copy of the thesis to the supervisor - deadline 1 September 2023;
3. After the supervisor has approved the thesis and thinks the student is ready for the defense, the student should submit the final thesis (electronic version via email and the paper version to the Front Office, application to the rector for the thesis defense, 400 BGN payment of the administrative fee) deadline 21 September 2023;
4. Obtaining a review - till 06 October 2023;
5. Thesis defense - 12 October 2023.

Important:

If you have missed attending a regular (the first date after the end of your last semester) and supplementary session in the year of graduation, when applying for the state examination/thesis defense, you must provide a receipt for the paid administrative admission fee of 300 BGN.
