Prof. Dr. Stanislav Dimitrov has been elected as a member of an OPSG expert group at EIOPA
Prof. Dr. Stanislav Dimitrov, head of the Department of "Insurance and Finance" at VUZF University, has been elected as a member of the Occupational pensions stakeholder group (OPSG) at the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority (EIOPA), Frankfurt, Germany. Prof. Dimitrov's term of office is 4 years. The OPSG aims to advise and give an opinion on EIOPA's draft regulatory and supervisory acts. EIOPA is one of three financial supervisory and regulatory authorities in the EU, along with the banking and securities authorities. Prof. Dimitrov's membership is a recognition of the University of Insurance and Finance (VUZF) for the high quality of education and research at the university in the field of pensions and insurance.
