On May 18th , 2010 at the Kempinski Hotel Zografski were awarded "Insurer of the Year 2009" prizes.
On May 18, 2010 at the Kempinski Hotel Zografski prizes were awarded "Insurer of the year” prizes. Organizers of the event for a second consecutive year are the University of Insurance and Finance (VUZF), Bulgarian Association of Insurers and Foundation “Prof. PhD. Veleslav Gavriiski”.
Categories in which insurers are nominated are three as a novelty this year is the prize "Most rapidly developing company in 2009”. The other prizes are awarded for: Insurer of the year – general insurance”, Insurer of the Year 2009 - life insurance. At the event Foundation “Prof.PhD. Velesalv Gavriiski” "gave its award" For outstanding contribution to the development of Bulgarian Insurance” - it is a prize to be awarded annually to a person.
With the "Insurer of the year – general insurance 2009 was awarded
"BULSTRAD Vienna Insurance Group”.
Award received Rumen Yanchev (Chairman and CEO of " BULSTRAD Vienna Insurance Group ), which was presented by Orlin Penev (Chairman of the Management Board of the Association of Bulgarian Insurers).
Awarded company with "Insurer of the Year – life” is the “Allianz Life Bulgaria AD”. Andrei Alexandrov received the award (Business Director “Allianz Bulgaria Life”), which was given by Prof PhD. Gregorii Vazov, President of the VUZF.
First prize in the category "Most rapidly developing company in 2009” was awarded the “Interamerican Bulgaria ZEAD”. PhD. Grigor Dimitrov, Senior Director of Insurance Relations, BIA awarded the statuette and diploma to Kosta Cholakov (Executive Director of "Interamerican Bulgaria ZEAD EAD”).
With the award for "For outstanding contribution to the development of Bulgarian Insurance” was awarded Mr. Svetoslav Rachev (G. A. Office America, Allianz Bulgaria) prize was given by Mr. Svetoslav Gavriiski (Allianz Bank Bulgaria" - CEO)
Official guests were: Dimitar Kostov - BNB Deputy Governor; Christina Mitreva-Governor of NSSI; Violina Marinova - Chairman and CEO of DSK AD; Diana Miteva, Executive Director of DSK; Luka Dokov Doctor Honoris Cause of VUZF.
