The U.S- Bulgarian new economic partnership for the future
On the 25th of February, 2010 was held a meeting between H.E. James Warlick, U.S. Ambassador to Bulgaria, the members of American Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria(AmCham), and government representatives. As a member of AmCham, VUZF was officially represented by Mrs. Venzislava Dacheva, head of the President of VUZF's cabinet, Mr.Radostin Vazov, Executive Director of VUZF and Prof. Barbara Scrupsky, guest-lecturer from the University of Meryland. At the meeting were discussed new opportunities for partnership between Bulgaria ana USA. As a main priority in this partnership, H.E. James Warlick indicated a collaboration in the field of higher education, and he encourages joint programs between universities like the one VUZF has with the University of Maryland.
