VUZF and the Embassy of the Republic of Korea organize the International forum “Bringing Korea’s Experience in Innovation, Education and Science to Bulgaria”
“Bringing Korea’s Experience in Innovation, Education and Science to Bulgaria” is an event, organized by VUZF University of Finance, Business and Entrepreneurship and the Embassy of Republic of Korea to Bulgaria.
Welcome address will be delivered by Mr. Doncho Barbalov is the Deputy Mayor for Finance at the Sofia Municipality, H.E. Shin Maeng-ho, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Bulgaria, and Prof. Grigorii Vazov, Rector of VUZF University.
The event aims to demonstrate the success of one of the most innovation economies in the world through the eyes of Prof. Ju-Ho Lee, former Minister of Education, Science and Technology of the Republic of Korea, Dr. Sanghoon Ahn, Sr. Economist, OECD, Mr. Chris Chung, Head of Samsung Electronics Bulgaria, and Dr. Hong-Bum Kim from the Korea Research & Innovation Center – Europe.
Prof. Nikolai Denkov and Prof. Kostadin Kostadinov, Deputy Ministers, Ministry of Education and Science, and Mr. Iravan Hira, General Manager, HP Bulgaria will join the discussion panel in order to offer their thoughts on how the Korean Innovation Model can be transferred to Bulgaria. Prof. Evgeni Evgeniev from VUZF University will moderate the discussion.
