Open lecture by Mrs Michele Fedor
VUZF invites you to an open lecture by Mrs Michele Fedor on the 16th of November(Friday) from 11:00 a.m. at room 303 of the University. Mrs. Michele Fedor, international marketing specialist from California (USA) is going to talk about "Standardization or Adaption of International Marketing Strategies?" Some strategists believe that the world is now a “global village” that allows marketers to homogenize their products/services and marketing mix all over the world to minimize costs and present a global brand image. Other observers emphasize the dissimilarities between markets in different countries and argue for the need for adaption to each market’s unique characteristics. Michele Fedor will be taking a look at both sides of the argument in order to reach a conclusion on the debate. Ms. Fedor worked in market research, advertising and marketing in Los Angeles, California and Phoenix, Arizona for over 10 years, with a diverse client list that includes automotive manufacturers Honda, Infiniti and Mitsubishi, Sofitel Hotels, San Francisco French Bread Co., America West Airlines (US Airways), YMCA, and Zila Pharmaceuticals, among others. Ms. Fedor currently resides in Sofia with her husband and son.
