VUZF Award in the competition "Young Economist 2011”
On the 10th of June, 2011 in the official Hall of Science – technical institution took place the ceremony of awarding the contestants of the competition organized by the Union of economists - "Young Economist in 2011”. The occasion of the competition for consecutive year is the forthcoming celebration of the “Day of the economist”. The ceremony was opened with the inaugural speech by the respected Prof. Delcho Poryazov. Among those present were prominent academics in economics. VUZF was presented by professor R. Neykova and professor Irena Misheva, Dean of the Higher School of Insurance and Finance. VUZF proudly marked the beginning of their students participating in the contest with two participants and a prize - a diploma awarded for fourth year student of “Accounting and Control "- Emiliya Shehtova. This year, in the "Young Economist" competition participated 171 students from nine universities and 20 economic schools.
