Official opening of joint programs with University of Sheffield
On March 23rd , 2011, at the Sheraton Hotel, Profesor Grigorii Vazov PhD, Rector of the Higher School of Insurance and Finance and Professor Paul White - Rector of the University of Sheffield, announced the official launch of the Bachelor and Master programs of the University of Sheffield in Bulgaria.
Among the official guests were Mr Tony Buckby, director of the British Council in Sofia, Mr. Ioannis Ververidis, chancellor of City College, International School of University of Sheffield and Ms Detelina Smilkova, vice president of VUZF University. As part of the celebration of the launch of the programs in Sofia, Dr. Angelos Rodafinos, professor of psychology at the University of Sheffield, gave a short lecture entitled: "Psychology of Success".
